William W. Colegrove Dies -- William W. Colegrove, 75 formerly of Itica, died athis home 29 W. Clark St., May11 1952, after a long illness.Mr. Colegrove was born inClinton May 2, 1877 a son ofCharles H. and Elizabeth JonesColgrove. He was educated in Clinton schools adn on Nov. 161898, he married Emma E Birge.For more than 35 years he was employed with the New YorkState Railway during which wime he lived in Utica. Heretired nine years ago and forthe past three yers had livedin Itica.He was a member of the ClintonBaptist Church.He leaves hiw wife; a son De-Forest Colgrove, Rochester; a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Bartlett,Utica; three grandsons, Rodney D. Johnson, Harrisburg, Pa.;DeForest W. Colgrove Jr. and Robert John Colgrove both of Rochester; several nieces.The funeral will be at 2 Wed-nesday ----- --- ----- -----Home, College St. Clinton.Burial will be in St. Paul'sCemetery Paris Hill.
