    2. THE WATERVILLE TIMES, WATERVILLE, N. Y., AUGUST 2. 1928 "Old Time" Party at F. S. Colgrove Home A gathering of old time friends was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Colegrove, upper Fountain street, Saturday, July 2S. Old time songs were sung and old time music enjoyed on the phonograph and piano. Miss Hazel A. Ford rendered several old time favorites on the piano. She also played for Kyffin Williams to sing several solos in a very pleasing manner He sang one or two in Welsh A quartette composed of A. G. Toomer. tenor; Kyffin Williams, barytone: Charles Payne, first bass; Leo Payne, second bass, gave several selections. Mrs. F. S. Colegrove and K. Williams sang a duet, "Calvary," composed by Mrs. F. S. Colegrove. After a bountiful dinner croquet was enjoyed by some of the younger ones, and a pray and praise meeting by the older ones. In spite of the storm in the afternoon the stars and stipes waved all day to the breeze. Those present were Prof. and Mrs George w Payne and two sons Woodford and Ernest, of Dayton, Oregon. Mr and mrs Charles Payne of Clark Mills; Mr and Mrs A.G. Toomer of Franklin Springs; Kyftin Williams,...Miss Hazel a Ford, Miss Essie... a poem for the occasion was composed and read by Mrs F.S.
