Colegrove celebrated her 92nd birthday at the home of her son, Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Colegrove, Brookslde Farm, upper Fountain St, Clinton, Oct 1st Beautiful fall flowers were a feature and she seemed to enjoy the colorful roses from the flower gardens of Miss Hazel 'A. Ford and Miss Essie M. Herbage of Clinton most of anything she received. Ice cream and fancy cakes were served, also fruit and candy. A birthday cake was also enjoyed. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. William W. Colegrove, Utica, Miss Hazel A Ford, Miss Essie M. Herbage, Clinton and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Toomer, Franklin Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Monahan of Syracuse were week end guests of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Cole grove, Brookslde Farm, upper Fountain St, Clinton. Mother Can you picture little mother In her rocking chair, With her hair so white and dainty. Free from toil and care? She will sing old songs, Hymns to her most dear, The shepherd's psalm recite, Bring Heaven very near. She's ninety-two years old, Her journey's end in view, Her feet are on. the highway, She'll soon be passing through.
