An open house reception will be held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard J. Smith of 138 Powers Rd. Saturday. The event will be held in their home at 7 p.m. They were married in New Cumber- land Sept. 20, 1933, by the Rev. Oresta C. Gross. They have lived in Weirton since. Mr. Smith is employed in the Electrical Department of Weirton Steel Co. Mrs. Smith is the former Eva Colegrove of Middlebourne, W. Va., She is the daughter of Mrs. Florence Ash of Mannington, W. Va. and the late George B. Colegrove. Mr. Smith is the son of Mrs. Laura Pierson of Josephs Mill, W. Va., and Charles Smith.
