SOLDIER REPORTED KILLED IN ACTION Olive Hill, Ky., Sept. 18. (AP) Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Colegrove of nearby Gregoryville have been informed thier son, Pvt. Oliver Colegrove, was killed in action in Korea August 16. He was the first Carter county man reported killed in the Korean fighting. Colegrove, age 18, enlisted in the army October 7, 1948, and trained at Camp Breckinridge. He went overseas in January 1949, and was stationed in Japan before the Korean invasion.
