He was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Alliance and was a molder for A. C. Williams Steel Foundry in Ravenna, Ohio. Surviving: wife, Geraldine Barker Gibson; sons, Charles E. of Salem, Ohio, Roger L., Homer S., Burnard F. and Jack R., all of Alliance, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Shelva J. Lilly and Mrs. Orvalene McDonald, both of Alliance, Mrs. Loveta J. Johnson of Upperglade, Mrs. Linda L. Allen of Fallsmill, Mrs Mary L. Colegrove of Sault Sainte Marie, Mich.; brothers Earl Gibson of Diamond, Ohio, Mackwell Gibson of Cowen; sisters, Mrs. Hazel Hamilton of Burnsville, Mrs. Lillian Claybourne of Ravenna, Ohio, Mrs. Lorain Exline of Diamond, Ohio, Mrs. Vada Collins, address unknown. Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton, with the Rev. Chris Borntrager officiating. Burial will be in Centralia Cemetery. Friends my call after 2 p.m. today.
