CONTAGEN FATAL FOR FATHER OF FIVE ----- J. W. Campbell, 41, Ill With Scarlet Fever 2 Weeks ----- John Wesley Campbell, 41, of 5421 Wilson avenue, Sciotoville, died this morning at 7:30 at his home of scarlet fever which developed two weeks ago. he has been ill two months. A son of Richard and Blae Jones Campbell, he had resided in Sciotoville the last 17 years. He was employed at Portsmouth works, Wheeling Steel Corp., and was affiliated with the Amanga- mated Association of Iron, Steel, Tin Workers and the Union Free Will Baptist church. Survivers include his wife, Mrs. Alpha Colegrove Campbell, two daughters, Eileen and Opal both at home; three sons, Ralph, Junior and Billy, also at home; three sisters, Misses May and Grace Campbell of Portsmouth and Mrs. Charles Wodrum of Sciotoville, and two brothers, Dewey Campbell of Portsmouth and Wilford Campbell, living in Arkansas. Private funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at the home. Rev.
