The Rev. Charles Duffy of the Philippine Islands, the Rev. Richard Noonan of Rochester and the Rev. John French of Glens Falls, concelebrated the nuptial Mass uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald F. Colgrove, 11925 Old Main Road, Silver Creek and the son of Mrs. J. Kenneth Powers, 64 Walnut St., Glens Falls and the late Mr. Powers. Miss Mary Ann Girard, the organist accompanied Mr. James Malvaso, soloist. The bride who was attired in a formal gown of white dotted Swiss over bridal taffeta, carried her maternal grandmother's 75-year-old first Communion prayer book accented by a single white rose. To add to that something old, the bride wore a Spanish heirloom pin of gold filigree, a gift from her Mexican "parents" with whom she resided while an exchange student in Mexico. Her gown, designed with a high neckline and fitted cuffs on the long full sleeves, featured an empire bodice trimmed with tiny white Venise lace repeated again on the hemline of the A-line skirt. A Camelot cap of white dotted Swiss held her bouffant tiered veil of imported silk illusion. Miss Mary Beth Colgrove of Buffalo attended her sister as maid of honor. She selected a multicolored wallpaper print gown of voile over taffeta. Smocking and tiny satin buttons trimmed the high ruffled neckline and cuffs of the long, full sleeves and the empire waist of the semi-full skirt. She wore a matching pink Dior bow and carried a bouquet of miniature pink and white carnations. Miss Mary Jane Powers of Glens Falls, sister of the bride- groom and bridesmaid, was attired in a gown similar to that worn by the maid of honor. She also wore a pink Dior bow to complement her gown and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Mr. Michael Powers also of Glens Falls, served as best man for his brother. The ushers, all residents of Glens Falls, were the Messrs. Edward Donohue, James McPhillips and Lawrence Mancini. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Colgrove selected an ivory and white pantsuit with matching accessories. The bride- groom's mother chose a pink linen costume accented with self accessories. A reception immediately followed the ceremony at The Montcalm in Lake George. For travelling to Montreal, the bride wore a pink and white tweed linen A-line dress with matching Eton jacket and white accessories. The bride is a graduate of Griffith Institute in Springville, and is presently a senior at LeMoyne College in Syracuse. The bridegroom, a graduate of St. Mary's Academy in Glens Falls, is also a senior at LeMoyne College.
