Schutz - Colgrove NAPLES -- A lovely Jun wedding was colemnized Saturday after- noon at 4 o'clock in the Naples Presbyterian Church, when Miss Marian Elizabeth Schutz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Schutz, of Naples, became the bride of Ray N. Colgrove, son of Bessie N. Colgrove, of Hemlock. The Rev. Elmer Irving Braden, pastor, officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a floor-length gown of white satin in princess style with a long veil of embroidered tille, caught with a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried an arm bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The matron of honor, Mrs. Elsie Van Schaick, sister of groom, wore powder blue chiffon and a coronet of daisies in her hair. She carried a shower bouquet of daisies adn delhinium. Bridesmaids were Misses Eunice Glauser and Mary Standish of Naples; Mrs. Gordon Schutz of Prattsburg; Miss Thelma Groves, of Lyon Falls. All were gowned alike in peach chiffon with long capes to match and wore coronets of daisies. They carried shower bouquets of daisies and delphinium caught with turquoise ribbon. The flower girls Misses Betty and Ruth Van Schaick wore powder blue organdy and carried baskets of pink rose petals. Miss Delores Schutz, niece of the bride was ring bearer and wore peach organdy. During the ceremony Miss Nancy Morey daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar S. Morey of Naples sang "I Love You Truly". Othello Thurton of Hemlock was bestman. Ushers were Jack Connors, Donald Collins, Glenn Bernhardt of Hemlock and Gordon Shutz, brother of the bride of Prattsburg. Mrs. Shutz, mother of the bride, woee aqua crepe with whiter accessories and a corsage of sweetheart roses. Mrs. Colgrove, mother of the bridegroom, was gowned in navy blue crepe with white accessories and wore a corsage of talisman roses. Following the ceremony a reception was held for the immediate families and a few friends in the East Avenue tea room. After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Colgrove will live in Hemlock.
