--Miss Margaret Clarke died at her grandfather's, Charles Colegrove's, on Friday, August 31. An attack of typhoid fever last summer so weakened the system that she never fully recovered, her last sickness was of several weeks' duration, the end coming peacefully at the 1last. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Clinton and was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. The funeral was attended on Sunday afternoon, burial being in St. Paul's cemetery, Paris Hill.
