    3. Miss Gladys Smythe Married To John Colegrave Sims In Church of the Neighbor Miss Gladys B. Smythe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Richardson Smythe of 1,900 Albemarie Road, was married last evening at the Church of the Neighbor to John Colegrove Sims, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick George Sims of New Ha- ven, Conn. The Rev, William F. Wunsch performed the ceremony which was followed by a reception for the_famiiies and close friends at the Towers Hotel. The bride was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin, the skirt draped to form a circular train, and a small round collar and inserts in the sleeves were of rosepoint and princess lace. Her long tule veil was caught with orange blossoms to a small Dutch cap of princess lace and she carried white orchids and valley lillies. Miss Helen Dorothy Smythe of Chicago, a cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a gown of deep coral chiffon with a long matching accordion pleated cape. Her shoes and the flowers in her hair were also of coral. She carried a veriety of Spring flowers. Other attendants were Mrs. Wal- ter C. Howe Jr. of Larchmont, Miss Jacqueline Sanford of Garden City and Miss Julia Porter Blossom and Miss Mary England Noaks of Brooklyn. The gowns were syled like that of Miss Helen Smythe in ivory chiffon, and their accessories were of ivory. They carried deep coral gerba daisies. Frederick G. Sims Jr. Brother of the bride groom, was best man and the ushers were John Alden Keyser of Montclair, Heber Hamilton Dunkle of Plainfield, Joseph B. Thrall of Windsor, Conn., and edward E. Dalmasse of Brooklyn. The bride received her education at Packer Collegiate Institue and the Traphagen School of Fashion and is a member of the Junior Guild of Colony House. Mr Sims was graduated from the Sheffield School of Yale University in 1932 where he is a member of Sachem Club. After a wedding trip in the South the couple will reside in Flatbush.
