Missing man Murdered Coudersport, Pa., Nov 16.-- Thediscovery of a skeleton in the woods in McKean county, fivemiles west of the Potter county line Wednesday by Earl Frank apheasant hunter, disclosed amurder and solves the mysterysurrounding the disappearance two months ago of D. T. Colgrove, for whom search was made forthree or four weeks. The identity of the skeleton hasbeen made certain by Colgrove'sbrother, who recognized the partsof the clothing. The skull hadbeen severed from the body and lay at the foot while one of the arms was a rod away. A rope wound about the butt of thetree indicates that Colgrove was either tortured before beingkilled or else was left todie tied to the tree, and afterdeath his bones were pulled apart by wild beasts.
