A reception was held at the church following the marriage, with out-of-town guest present from Syracuse, Fort Dix, N.j., Florida, Auburn, Rochester and Newark. Mr Colegrove is employed at the Sealright Corp. They will reside at 312 East Broadway.     3. TURNIN ------ Turnin, June 28--A pretty wedding took place Thursday afternoon at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Abram C. Miller, when their only daughter. S. Mabel, was united in marriage with George W. Colegrove. The Rev Charles M. Smith of the Methodist Episcopal Church performed the ceremony. "O Promise Me" was sung by John R. Pritchard before the ceremony. The Mendei**ohn wedding march was played by Mrs. John R. Pritchard. The bride was excorted by her father. The maid of honor was Miss Mary E. Roberts. Charles Cole- grove, brother of the groom, acted as best man. Little Miss Margaret Higby carried the ring. Dinner was served after the ceremony. The color scheme throughout was pink and white. Mr. and Mrs. Colegrove left on the evening train for Kouka Lake. On their return they wil reside at Lyon Falls, where Mr. Colegrove will be principal of the High School. CLINTON Miss Lottie Colegrove, Formerly Teacher Clinton, May 21,--Miss Lottie Colegrove, one of the best known of the younger residents of this villiage, died at her home on Marvin street at 6 p. m. yester- day. She suffered a stroke of paralysis on Tuedday afternoon. The deceased was in her 43d year and was born and had spent practically all her life here. She attended teh college Seminary and afterwards took a course at Mt. Holyoke College. For about eight years she was a member of the Clinton High School faculty in the high school department, giving up that position about five years ago. She also was for three years connected with the State Regent's Department at Albany. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Colegrove, and two sisters, Mrs. Fred G. Sims of Brooklyn and Miss Clara Colegrove of East Orange, N. J. The funeral will be held from the house Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.     3. DR FREDERICK W. COLEGROVE Native of This Vicinity Died While Visiting Here. Dr. Frederick Welton Colegrove of Seattle, Wash., a native of this city, died in a local hostital early yester- day morning. He was born near Clinton, December 17 1855, a son of the late Charles and Asenath Allyn Colegrove, and spent his early life on the farm, where he was born. He came East to attend the fiftieth annaversary of the founding of Ottawa University, Kan., and then came to Clinton to visit his old home. Dr. Colegrove was graduated from the Whitestown Seminary in 1876 and afterward was graduated from Colgate Academy at Hamilton and later from Colgate University. His entire life has been spent along educational lines. He was a member of the Col- gate chapter of Phi Theta Pi. He was deeply interested in Masonry, being a member of Clinton Lodge, No. 169, F. & A. M. of Clinton and Seattle Chapter No. 3, R. A. M., which he served as high priest in 1910. In August 1884, he married Mabel Eloise Dart of Hamilton, who was with him during his last illness. He also leaves two brothers, Charles H. and John of Clinton. Dwight H. Colegrove of this city is a nephew. Funeral services will be held at the home of his brother, John Colegrove, 20 Marvin street, Clinton. Tuesday, at 1:30 p. m., at which the rev. Dr. William H. Maynard, D. D. of Hamilton will officiate. Interment will be at Hamilton.     3. Harlow C. Colegrove Harlow C. Colegrove, one of the old residents of the section, died at the family homestead just north of the line between the townships of Springwater and Canadice, and about two miles north of Springwater village, at an early hour Monday morning. Although he has been in poor health for about two weeks, he had been about the house all the time and until within twenty-four hours of his death was not considered seriously ill. Sunday, however, his condition suddenly changed for the worse, and physicians were unable to do anything for him. A widow, one daughter, and four sons, Oren, Charles and Elmer of Canadice, and Jotham, of Spring- water, survive. The bride was attired to white Persian mull with white satin and pearl trimmings. The maid of honor Miss Mabel Jones of New Hartford, wore white organode over blue.     3. note: Paper did not have date printed on it CLINTON Tuesday evening at the home of the Brides's mother, Mrs. Thomas Harri- son in Westmoreland occurred the marriage of her daughter, Miss Frances Harrison to Frank S Cole- grove, son of Charles H. Colegrove of this village. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Charles H. Colegrove, a brother of the groom in the presence of about fifty relatives and innediate friends. The maid of honor was Miss Hannah Harrison a sister of the bride, and the best man was Prof. H**cher Armstrong of Mineral, Canada. The honeymoon will be spent in the east and after March they will be at home to their friends in this village, where they will reside.     3. Lewis H. Churchill-- Lewis H. Churchill, aged 69 years, died at his home here yesterday. Mr Churchill had been in poor health since last summer but had only been confined to his bed for about a week. He was born at St. Johnsville and came to this villiage when a boy and for many years resided in ******ton. He has resided here for the past two years. During his life he had followed the occupations of carpenter and farmer. he has many friends who will regret his passing. Besides his widow he is survived by two sons and five daughters. Lewis Jr., of Lopez, Pa., William Churchill of Utica. Miss Nellie Churchill, Mrs Cora B Conrad, Mrs. Ephriam Richardson, Mrs. William B. Sholts and Mrs. Morris Colegrove of Fort Plain; also eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the late home Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and from the Catherine Nellis Memorial chapel at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. Thomas Kirkwood pastor of the Reforced Church officiating. The interment will bemade in the Fort Plain Cemtery.
