Looking in my tree, I have 3 Joseph Colcord members. Joseph Colcord (b. 1754) married Francis (Fanny) Russell He served in the Revolutionary War. Their Son Joseph Colcord (b. 1784) was married to Sally Jenness. They have a son Joseph who appears to have died young (1812) It is very likely that there are more Joseph Colcords. The elder Joseph had 2 brothers, David (b. 1745) and Samuel (b 1748). It appears that your Joseph and mine are likely not the same, perhaps cousins?
