She was born November 4, 1937 in Boston, Mass., the daughter of the late Frederick Moore and Beatrice (Colby) Knox. Betty had lived in West Ossipee for many years before moving to Effingham and Freedom. She had been employed as a Nurse's Aide at the Mountain View Nursing Home, Ossipee for several years. She was the widow of the late Robert Fenderson. Betty is survived by her loving daughters Debra Williams of Freedom and Cindy Cook of Tamworth; two granddaughters Telie Shannon and Melissa Cox; four great-grandsons; a brother Douglas Thurston of Center Ossipee; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held in the Chickville Cemetery, Center Ossipee, in the Spring. Donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice of Southern Carroll County, PO Box 1620, Wolfeboro NH 03894. Lord Funeral Home, Moultonville Road, Center Ossipee is in charge of arrangements.
