Colby, 82, of Cadott, WI died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chippewa Falls, WI. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at Big Drywood Lutheran Church, rural Cadott. Primate interment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, is assisting the family with arrangements. He was born April 19, 1923, in Chicago to Frank and Flossie (Rowe) Colby. He married Elaine Paul on April 27, 1946, in Colby. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Roger is survived by his wife, Elaine; children, Barbara, Jerry, Wendy and Bradley; and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
