Check out Ephraim Colby - son of Joseph & Abigail Warren Colby who was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts 24 Mar,1750. In some records he is listed as "Colbey". He is supposed to have gone to New Hampshire and died there. I think he is Samuel S. Colby's father. But I can't find proof. At least, not right now!!! I don't even have a name of a spouse!!!
