Quite understandably, several people have expressed an interest in the reprinting of the subject book. Please understand that we are still quite a ways from getting this done, folks! Since the book is still under copyright, the first thing we have to do is to locate Carolyn Ochsner, the surviving daughter of Harold Colby Smith, who is the presumed copyright owner. If she gives her permission for the reprint, then we must get a copy of the book to Higginson Books, who will give us a quote. If we order in volume (10 or more copies) through John Slaughter, the Essex County USGenWeb administrator, we get a substantial discount. If and when we get to the point where we are ready to take orders, I will post a notice inviting people to contact me off list. In the meantime, if anybody knows how to contact Carolyn Ochsner, please let me know! Guy I. Colby IV Irving, TX
