    3. Strange. I have that Ann Upper Colby didn't die until 13 Dec 1874. SPENCER CEMETERY,Ypsilanti no longer exists but there is a memorial stone. COLBY, Ann w/o William L. See the grave info, above. Byron is the last of the children of William Lord and Ann Upper Colby. Maybe even a posthumous(?) baby. So this is an interesting puzzle!     3. The Ann listed in the census is William and Ann's daughter, Charity Ann. Where did Alnn Upper go after the death of William? She's not listed in the 1850 or 1860 census. She shows up in the 1870 living with both son, Scott and daughter, Alice and their families. I doubt Bryon is the last child, Ann Upper would have been 50 years old at time of his birth, not likely. William Colby s/o William Colby and Ann Upper married Eliza Huntley William and brother John are living in Woodhull in 1860. I have no Idea who William H Colby belongs to at the present.
