COLBY Died at Owego, NY, Wednesday June 24, 1896, of typhoid fever, Florence BURCH wife of Ray M. COLBY, aged 30 years. She is survived by her husband, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi S. BURCH of Newark Valley, a sister Mrs. L. E. WELLS of Dushore, PA. And a brother Raymond BURCH of Newark Valley. The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence of Dr. C. L. STILES where her death occurred, her pastor, Rev. C. M. BARTHOLOMEW, Officiating, the internment will be in the Evergreen cemetery. The news of the death was a great shock to numerous friends of the family, as well as to the entire community. Mrs. COLBY formally resided in Newark Valley and came to Owego with her husband soon after their marriage a little over four years ago. She was an active member of the Congregational church of this village and it's Christian Endeavor society and King's Daughter's circle. Many expressions of sincere sympathy for the afflicted friends are heard
