    2. Ronald Colby
    3. In the book "The Maritime History of the Merrimac River < Shipbuilding" 1964 by Robert K. Cheney There are several references to Colby. One is Abner Colby who owned the Sloop 'Pearl' in 1813 (a 46 Ton Sloop). He was listed as Abner Colby, Salisbury (I assume Massachusetts but might be New Hampshire). Any ideas on who this might be?? Ronald Colby [email protected] Kearns, Utah 801-680-1317 I finally got my head together, now my body is falling apart. 3. Ron, These may be of general interest. I would like to know if anyone has the Colbys in Essex Mass. probate records after1840.I am particularly interested in the Salisbury records of Charles A. and John (file 5923) and a second John (file 5924)whose cases were carried into 1840, also George file 5906.
