Services for Randall Button, 61, of 702 Reese Road, Frankfort, who died Thursday at Faxton-Children's Hospital, Utica, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, both in Frankfort. Spring burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 203 Second Ave. A native of Black Brook, Mr. Button resided most of his life in Frankfort. He was the founder in 1949 of Herkimer Wholesale, Utica, which later acquired Costello Bros. Inc. of Syracuse, Button Bros. Inc. of Rochester and Lobells of Albany. At the time of his death, Mr. Button was chairman of the board of Herkimer Wholesale, the 32nd largest tobacco and candy wholesale distributor in the United States. Mr. Button was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. He was former president and chairman of the board of the New York State Association of Tobacco and Candy Distributors. Surviving are his wife, the former Rosemary Seppi; three sons, Michael of Frankfort, John of Rochester and James, at home; two daughters, Mary Jean Grippe of Frankfort and Jeri Ann Button, at home; two sisters, Betty Stewart of Syracuse and Nancy Czerkies of Frankfort; eight grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
