I like how people post obituaries for the "current" Colby families. But are there any reliable websites and/or databases where people can post these types of things, maybe from their local papers, and where they can be searched by others? I'm not just talking about current obits, but old ones as well. I was thinking if someone wanted to go to a library or local museum that housed old newspapers and they wanted to transcribe and then upload them to share with other genealogists and family historians. Is there such a vehicle available? Thanks.
