I have no other info on Amanda colby other than the info that she was the mother of Amanda Chaffee and obviously lived or was from Mass. Porter was born in Monson, MA and died in Ellington Ct. I do know that Porter was a blacksmith and/or carriage maker if that helps. Porter Walbridge and Amanda Chaffee had the following children Eunice b. 1817, Moulton b. 1815, Wing b. 1819, Sandford b. 1821, King b 1823, Austin 1825, Adeline b 1826 and Porter Jr. b. 1827.
