My husband had an uncle Ira but he was from Thorpe, WI.as was most of his Colby family. My father in law was from Thorpe, graduated from high school there went into the Army Air Corp and retired as a Colonel from the U.S.Air Force in remained in Shreveport, LA afterwards. Patricia Colby
