You do have to register - I think it's just your name and email address. then you can create your "favorite" cemeteries, etc. Also if you live near a cemetery and would be willing to take pictures for people, you can register that cemetery and when someone requests a picture from that cemetery, they will send an email to you asking if you can take the picture. Likewise, if you know "auntie Em" is buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, but there is no picture, you can send a request for someone to take a pic for you.
