Born to parents Samuel & Inez Colby on Aug. 17, 1914. After serving in the US Army for 4 years during WW II in Italy, Rome and Africa, Milo began a long career serving the railroad and Dept. of Defense. Retired after 40 years with Denver and Rio Grande West in railroad service. Outgoing and active in retirement at the Creekside Senior Center as treasurer and performer in the Crickets music group. He was preceded in death by parents; stepmother, June; sister, Elice Jones. Survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Colby, following 60 years of marriage; and son, Michael of Duluth, MN. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials to donor's choice.
