Ethel Colby's husband, John Hinmon is my 2nd cousin one generation removed. My wife is a "Colby" so I was wondering how Ethel Colby might be connected to my wife's family.   I have a lot of info on the Hinmon's, that goes back to my Fuller family.   Bob Fuller ________________________________ From: "Nshock2@aol.com" <Nshock2@aol.com> To: colby@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2009 8:50:10 PM Subject: Re: [COLBY] Smith Colby This would be "my" Smith Colby family. Smith was born in Erie County, New  York in 1828. I have not been able to find which of the Colby men in Sardinia he  is descended from. Ethel was his and Samantha Robinson's daughter. Ethel was the  first school teacher in Okobojo, Sully, South Dakota. Thank you for posting the  Obit on Ethel I didn't have that. Do you know what publication it was in?
