She was born August 11, 1934, in Vancouver, Washington, to Edward and Wilma Nickerson. Arleta is survived by three children: David, Rebecca and Richard, all of Vancouver, WA; two sisters, of Vancouver, WA; 18 grandchildren and 23 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Raymond Colby, in 2004, and her son, Larry Colby, in 2006.
