Some of them! The first one, John is the son of Nehemiah & Phoebe Fink Colby. The next, the group, is John's brother, William who married Nancy Dow. The 3 on one stone are their children. The next one, another Nancy Jane, is William's daughter with his second wife, Ann Scott. I think that William & Ann Scott would have had more children, but I have no records of this. I don't know who the other people might be. Marilyn -- In your message regarding Essex Co. probate records, you suggest that Anthony Colby's widow Susannah may have borne a son to her third husband, William Whitridge/Whittredge. This is the first time I have ever seen this supposition -- what is the source of your information? Since Susannah was almost certainly well beyond child bearing age at the time of her third marriage (about 1663 or 1664), it seems very unlikely. Guy I. The only George Colby I can find in the NH genealogical archives, who was born in New London, NH, was born on 7/1/1821, the son of James and Catherine. There were 5 George H's born in NH in the early 1800's, but not born in New London. Sam Colby Bow, NH
