I've "rescued" an old photograph of Charles E. ANGELL which was taken at the Gonner's Studio in Durango, Colorado. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Charles noted as 22 years old at the time. In addition to his name, someone has written "To Cousin Angelia" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to locate the family in census records as follows: 1880 census of Columbus, NE: A. P. ANGELL, age 32, a Railroad Agent, born RI, parents born VT/NJ Jennie M. ANGELL, wife, age 28, born WI, parents born NY Charles ANGELL, son, age 4, born WI Minnie ANGELL, dau, age 3, born WI And living directly next door Chas H. ANGELL and wife Mary E. ANGELL - appears to be brother to A. P. ANGELL 1900 census of Denver, CO: Addison P. ANGELL, age 51, born Feb 1849, married 27 years, born RI, parents born RI, a Railroad Express Messenger Jennie M. ANGELL, wife, age 49, born Mar 1851, married 27 years, 1 child/1 living, born WI Charles E. ANGELL, son, age 25, born Jan 1875, born WI, a Railroad Clerk I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of his family.
