I am reposting my interests: Researching grgrandparents James O. Monteith/Christina (Ross) Monteith. Immigrated from Scotland 1882 with 4 kids: Annie, Robert, John C. (mine), and Christina. Settled on farm near Falfa on Florida Mesa. Also James O's brother, John R. Monteith/Catherine (Ross) Monteith and Catherine's sister Annie (Ross) and husband Joh D. Carnon eventually settled there. Then, by 1900 census. other siblings of James O. were there - Peter, Andrew, and Mary Monteith. Unable to get death verif for these 3, altho think they died Durango. Christina d. 1919 and James O. 1921, both Durango. Farm was occupied until at least 1924, when their daughter Annie marr. and moved to Calif. Son Robert probably remained on the farm - died 1945.
