Hello list, Just wanted to let you know that there is a genealogy book on EBAY - it's the "PIONEERS OF THE SAN JUAN COUNTRY" . It is huge - over 800 pages and published by the Sarah Platt Decker Chapter of the DAR. Tons of info on La Plata County's early years and the early pioneers of the area. I bought it thinking it might have some of my ancestors in it, but my ancestors lived too far east than what this book covered (they lived in Apishapa, Trinidad, etc.) Anyway, just wanted to let you know about this book as there is soooo much info in it, including marriages, etc. If you had ancestors from this area, be sure and check out this book!
