We just finished the partial transcription for the Bayfield Cemetery, aka Pine River Cemetery in Bayfield, CO. It will be posted soon to the Colorado Transcription Project. Photos have been taken of each transcription and they can be found at http://coloradogravestones.org I know that it is not a lot but we have uploaded 977 photos for LaPlata Co. and that is just a drop in the bucket for the graves that are there but it is a start. That completes the photos that I took over Memorial Day weekend so until I get back up to the area there won't be any more submissions from me, but that sure doesn't mean that others can't make submissions for LaPlata Co. The Colorado Gravestones Project just got started the end of April and we have over 3500 submissions for the whole state so far. Again, that is not a lot but is a start and the project is growing.
