    1. John Lewis Robinson - Obituary
    2. Local Happenings Bayfield Blade Bayfield, La Plata County, Colorado October 1, 1915 To die among strangers makes the death doubly sad. John Lewis Robinson of the Farmington section disposed of a load of fruit here about two weeks ago and then went to the Hollar ranch to assist the tenant, Lon Baker, in harvesting, but soon took to bed with pneumonia, which was his third or fourth attack. A Physician was summoned, but he could render little assistance as the man was beyond hope, and he died at midnight between Sunday and Monday. Mrs. Robinson arrived two days before her husband's demise. In the meantime Mr. and Mrs. Baker took the very best care of the stranger patient. Funeral services were conducted in the Presbyterian church by Rev. H. L. Elston and interment was in the Bayfield cemetery. Deceased was past 60 years of age and was a native of Illinois. Three of his six children are living, at a distance. Mr. Robinson joined the Methodist church when a young man but later joined the Presbyterian church.
