I have a new e-mail address since the last time I posted, so will repost. I am researching James Ogilvie Monteith (b 1847 Scotland)/wife Christina Louisa Ross (1852 Scotland). They immigrated to Durango in 1882, with 4 kids: Annie; Robert; John Carnon (my line-b1879 Scotland); and Christina. They settled in Durango, then a farm near Falfa/Griffith. James O.'s siblings also eventually settled in Durango: John R. Monteith/wife Catherine; Peter Monteith; Andrew Monteith; and Mary Monteith. Also researching Annie (Christina's sister)/husband John Carnon, also in Durango. My John Carnon Monteith married Laura Moss 1908 Durango. The farm near Falfa was occupied probably until around 1945, when Robert Monteith (from my first sentence) died. Any information would be appreciated. Laura
