Dear Ruby: I don't have any information for you but I do have some connections in the area. My great grandparents (Richard Simpson Oldham and Margaret Ellen Kavanaugh) and my grandparents (Charles Richard Oldham and Inez Soletus Gilliland) all homesteaded in Pagosa Springs in 1914, later returning to Oklahoma. The Oldhams were from Chariton County, Missouri, which is mainly what I wanted to tell you. The Oldhams now in Pagosa Springs are from the same family but from two different brothers back in the late 1700s.If I come across your family names in our records I'll let you know. Hope to meet you someday. I plan to eventually make a trip to that area. Best regards, Larry L.
