Is there anyplace where I could find information if my husband's ancestor, John CULLEN had anything to do with the Leadville newspaper in the early 1880's. He was married to Kate McAlister and worked in the mines when he first arrived - 1879. Will appreciate any information. Thankyou, Jean
Hi Jean, I have a great aunt, Mary Doyle, who married James Cullen in Leadville in 1889. They had 3 children: Mary, Buster, and Elizabeth. They were married in Annunciation Church on May 5th. The witnesses were Peter Cullen and Annie McCall. Maybe James and Peter are related to your husband's family? ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, July 23, 2001 6:45 PM Subject: [COLAKE] CULLEN surname > Is there anyplace where I could find information if my husband's ancestor, > John CULLEN had anything to do with the Leadville newspaper in the early > 1880's.
