My ggrandfather Sinon (Simon) O'Rourke was in Leadville from about 1880 until 1895. We believe other members of his family were in the area also. One in particular a Thomas O'Rourke who was in the area abt. 1870 and died there about Aug- 1929. Just before his death it said in his obit he held the office of Justice of the Peace. It also said in his obit that he had part ownership of the president mine. I have his death certificate, hoping it would lists parents or place of birth (no luck). I am basically trying to find out for sure if he is one of ours. I am willing to share all and any information that I have on Leadville, If I could just fine a bit more on him or any of the O'Rourkes in Leadville. I think that there should be more information on someone who spent more that half his life in Leadville. Can you help me??? I am also interested in the names Greene-O'Malley (Melia)- Meehan-Thomas Brown -Kelly-- Minnegan? Thomas O'Rourke- There may have been 2- lived on Popular and I believe Harrison and a few other locations during his lifetime. Sinon (Simon) -Toledo? e 3rd or 5th John M O'Rourke?
