If you see mention of the James Griffiths family (in Leadville from about 1878 until some time before 1900) then do tell me! I have collected a few photographs of Leadville - interesting! Compares in a strange way with the mining towns that evolved here in Australia at about the same time. Lois

    1. [COLAKE] Rose Family of Leadville
    2. Joanna Ahrendt
    3. I am seeking any informationon a Rose family who appeared on the 1885 and 1900 census from Leadville. The father of the family was Alfred (Albert) Rose (born July 1850 in England) and the mother was Catherine McKenna Rose (born May 1856 in Ireland). The children that I know of are Alfred (born 1879 in England), Mary Louise (born Jan. 1880 in England), James O. (born Feb 1883 in IL), William (born July July 1889 in Leadville), and Brent/Burt (born July 1891 in Leadville). I have been able to follow Mary Louise (my husband's great grandmother), but the others seem to have disappeared. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
