    1. [COLAKE] directory lookup?
    2. John Bartlett
    3. Hi All, Could someone please tell me if trade directories are extant for Nederland and Leadville between 1871 and say 1890? My g-g-grandfather was discharged from the 8th Regiment of US Cavalry stationed at Fort Union, New Mexico in March 1871. He was a bootmaker named John H Devers, b. abt 1847 in County Clare, Ireland. The 1880 US Census CO for Nederland township lists John H. DEVERS on page 344. In 1883 the Leadville Colorado City Directory lists: John H DEVERS, shoemaker residence 422 e 9th Leadville, Co If this is the same man as my lad I would like to know where he got to between 1871 when he was given his walking papers and 1880, and what happened to him after that. Dare I hope for sks to look him up? He had a father, Edward Devers last heard of in Benton Harbor MI and may have started walking north to him. Thanks and Merry Christmas to you all.
