I am looking for information about William P. Records (b. 21 Mar 1835-d. 1907). According to information in his Civil War Pension file he and his family lived in Leadville, Lake Co., Colorado, from about 1876 until 1907. William's wife's name was Zerilda (Clapp) Records, and the four children were named F. E. Records (b. 7 June 1858), C. W. Records (b. 5 Feb 1865), Minter Records (b. 11 Sep 1873), and Mattie Records (b. 13 Apr 1880). It is my understanding that William is buried in the GAR section of the Evergreen Cemetery, in Block 5, Lot 129. I would like to know if the wife and any or all of the children are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Any other information about the Records' life there in Leadville would be much appreciated. (William was an older brother of my G-grandfather James M. Records, and the two brothers served in the Colorado Cavalry during the Civil War.) Thank you, Frank Weihs, in Tacoma, WA
