I am researching my GG grandfather, J.H. Todd (ca. 1856 - aft. 1920). He worked on the Hayden Ranch in Lake County, and I believe he is related to Sarah M. Hayden, possibly through the Steele line. I found his name in the 1880 Lake County federal census, listed with F.E. Hayden and his wife, Sarah M. I have access to the microfilms of the Colorado state census of 1885, but have no index. (1) Was Lake County one of the 20 states for which there is an index for the 1885 census? (2) If so, would someone with a copy of the index please look for an entry for a J.H. TODD, F.E.
