    3. Hello Gail: I would like to know if he was ever in any mine accidents and whether I can find more proof that he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His obituary says he was a member of the KofC and his tombstone has the emblem of the KofC on its face, but I am hoping for some records. I have gone through the city directories and have that info. I have a copy of the History of Leadville and Lake County, but no answers to my questions in either. Thanks for your interest in helping. 3. Did you check church records? His records would probably be at Annunciation. Let me know as I will, maybe, be headed that direction. g On Fri, Jun 5, 2009 at 7:57 AM, W. 3. Thanks, Gail I have birth and marriage records from Annunciation Church. Patrick is mentioned as father of children baptized and father of groom/bride. Obit (Herald Democrat, Leadville, 24 August 1909---death 23 August) says death "after an illness of several months" therefore probably not from mining accident. I have a friend in Lakewood, member of the Knights, who is looking for KofC records from Leadville council. Anyway, thanks for looking.
