    1. [COLAKE] Death Certificate Inquiry
    2. I'm new to the list and looking to get the death certificate for a distant relative of my husband who died in Leadville in 1928. Is there a less expensive route that going through the Registrar of Vital Statistics ($15)? Diane in Illinois

    3. I don't know of any other way to get a death certificate. Neil Reynolds is no longer the Registrar of Vital Stastics in Leadville. I just found this out. All of his files have been transfered to the Health Department or taken to Denver to the State office. I will find out more information on Tuesday when I contact the Health Department. I will let everyone know what the new procedure will be. -----Original Message----- From: dlculhane <dlculhane@cs.com> To: COLAKE <COLAKE@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thu, May 23, 2013 8:58 am Subject: [COLAKE] Death Certificate Inquiry I'm new to the list and looking to get the death certificate for a distant relative of my husband who died in Leadville in 1928. 3. Diane, Who is the relative you are looking for? Maybe someone on here already has a copy and they would share with you. Also, check with the Leadville Public library, Janice Fox. 2. Thanks, Sheree. It's John O'Mahoney, died about Nov. 28, 1928, buried in St. Joseph Cemetery.
