    3. Pete, I have sent you an email with scans some Dorsey items I found in a piece of furniture that my Grandfather was given as payment for a job. My Grandfather, Henry "Bud" Thompson was the second caretaker of the Mount Massive Trout Club. His father, my Great Grandfather, Azzie Thompson was the 1st. My Great Grandfather helped build most of the buildings, lakes & roads. I hope there is a connection to your Dorsey's. 3. Sheree: Thanks. You were kind enough to send me these before, but now thanks to Janice Fox sending me some census data I am sure that they relate to my Dorsey group and the pictures you sent were probably of them! The father John Dorsey or J.B. Dorsey as he seemed to be called was a master mechanic for the RR through Leadville, and I found numerous references to him, his son Duane and his daughters Marie and Marguerite in the local newspaper that can be found on line. This was very cool! Gail Meyer Gilgore had also sent me some references to some Dorseys in the Leadville history and this is the same group, so I'm beginning to get a picture of them. Now of course I want to visit Leadville! I also wonder if there are any living relatives around there. I didn't see any Leadville Dorseys in the online white pages although there was a Charles M. Dorsey in Buena Vista so who knows. I'm trying to work up the courage to call him out of the blue. Of course I had to google the Mou! nt Massive Trout Club and see it's still in existence--so that's very cool also. My twin sons are crazy about fishing so maybe some day . . . Thanks so much. It is great to have the pieces fall together like this.
