I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help me obtain a death record or newspaper story regarding Otto Olson Bing who died in Leadville in a railroad accident in 1899. On Ancestry.com I find a number of city directory listings for Otto Olson Bing in the area around the time of 1899. I unfortunately do not have a date of death, only a year. I know that Otto was born in Norway but I do not know where and that it was I am trying to find out. Otto was married to Johanna Anderson Dahlen in 1865 in Chicago. They were the parents of Eleonora and Ethel Olson who were famous performers from about 1905-1925. I am trying to see if they have a connection to Solør in Hedmark, Norway. Any suggestions on where I could find help, as I live in WI and haven't done Colorado research before would be helpful. Thank you. Caroline Herfindahl www.carriekin.com www.solorlag.com
