    3. I don't know, I wasn't around then. It is my goal to gather as much history as possible. We recently got a grant from the Griswold Trust to purchase equipment to record oral histories. We have done a few so far. We have video and audio equipment. We are looking for people who would like to share their memories either on film or on audio. Either way is fine. I have also digitized some of the reel to reel tapes I found in the library. You can listen to them on our oral history page. http://www.lakecountypubliclibrary.org/Oralhistories.html I am in awe of all of the great work that you do, Gail. You are a treasure. Thanks, Janice -----Original Message----- From: Gail Kilgore <gail.kilgore@gmail.com> To: colake <colake@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tue, Mar 26, 2013 9:33 pm Subject: Re: [COLAKE] Amy Lucas That's ok, all the stuff of Kate O'Brien's, the daughter of Judge O'Brien, that I tried to give to the library when I was told the library didn't want it and was told to take all the stuff to the historical society, the lady at the historical society left me with the feeling of, "What do you want me to do with all this stuff" and I felt bad for the lady that sent it to me who wanted it all returned to Leadville. I have often wondered it they did anything with it or did it make its way to the round file. g On Tue, Mar 26, 2013 at 8:27 PM, t <slyasafox14k@aol.com> wrote: > I'm sorry Gail, I thought you knew. 3. Janice & Gail,   I wish this technology had been in the library 10 years ago.  Gail, you told me before our 1st trip to CO in 2000 that there was an Omohundro in BV. Turned out to be my husband's last living aunt. I think it was 2003 when she was 84 we took her back to Leadville to reminisce. What a wealth of information she was as we passed homes and businesses!  Sadly she passed away a couple years ago.  She, her husband Arthur, his brother, Sidney Omohundro had lived in Leadville about 60 to 70 years ago.   Linda >________________________________ > From: t <slyasafox14k@aol.com> >To: colake@rootsweb.com >Sent: Tuesday, March 26, 2013 11:42 PM >Subject: Re: [COLAKE] Amy Lucas > >I don't know, I wasn't around then. 3. Nancy Manly said she wished technology had come along earlier, too. She and Sherry hand typed all of the cemetery records and census indexes and all of their research would have been easier on the computer. -----Original Message----- From: DICK & LINDA OMOHUNDRO <omohndro@sbcglobal.net> To: colake <colake@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wed, Mar 27, 2013 8:42 am Subject: Re: [COLAKE] Amy Lucas Janice & Gail, I wish this technology had been in the library 10 years ago.
