    3. My mom's cousin is Bernadette (Vidmar) Zancanlla. She said she didn't know the other names mentioned but thinks she knows Gail Killgore from high school. Was she Gail Meyer? She Guido Zancanella was born in Glenwood Springs, CO. The family went back to Italy and lived in a small town north of Venice. Guido came back to the United States at the outbreak of WWI. He and Bruna Bonvicin were married in Leadville, CO; one of the attendants was Miss Cavanaugh (first name?) who was related to Kerrigans's, O'Neills on E 8th St. The best man might have been Tindale, (1st name?) who owned a liquor store on the corner of E 6th st. Bernadette's husband was Frank Zancanella, son of Guido and Bruno. > Date: Sat, 10 Nov 2012 15:05:54 +0000 > From: kodi2250@comcast.net > To: colake@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [COLAKE] Things > > Gail, > > > Transcribing the marriages has got to be a huge job. 3. A site that has been online for about two years but gathering speed is Trails to the Past at http://trailstothepast.org It is a free site and we hope that in the days to come the site will grow. We are always looking for volunteers and information to be added to the sites. We just started a new obit program,. http://www.ourfamtree.org/obituaries/ any submissions to that site would be gladly accepted. I am working on the marriage database for Lake Co. and have over 550+ marriages so far and still in the "B's" but I will try and load them as I get each letter transcribed. They will be loaded to http://rootsweb.ancestry.com/~colake2/ in the near future. Even tho you have old obits submitted on the other Lake Co. site, you might want to get some loaded on this obituary site. The search engines will soon be locating that site as word gets out. Hope you will come and visit. Gail

The only reason I think the Thomas O'brien I'm looking for is the same one you mentioned in your post is because the Canon City pentitentary listed the occupation of the one I'm tracking as a "teamster"...same as the 1880 census you refer to. As a side note, I've possibly narrowed Thomas O'brien's death to 1903 in Salida, CO (drug overdose)...or possibly alive in 1930 living in Phoenix, AZ. I take it since your post in 1999 you haven't been able to nail down your Thomas O'brien's whereabouts either?
