Both Thomas and Elizabeth were born in GA and both were born approx. 1812. >From Talladega Co. Alabama 1850 Census: Thomas Burns, age 38, b. GA Elizabeth, age 38, b. GA Malissa, age 14, b. GA Lucy, age 12, b. GA John M., age 10, b. GA Thomas J., age 8, b. GA Viola, age 6, b. GA Taylor, age 4, b. GA Henrietta, age 1, b. AL The first child listed, Malissa, was born 1837. Malissa married the next year to William F.M. ALLEN. These are my 3-g grandparents. They had two daughters in AL before migrating to Texas between 1856-1859.
